The collection documents the work of James C. Keck, Jr. as both an educator and an activist in Baltimore, Maryland between 1966 and 1971. Scope and Contents This collection contains eighteen transcripts of oral history interviews conducted with eighteen indivduals who had been active in the early years of The People's Community Health Center, which was originally named The People's Free Medical Clinic, in Baltimore, Maryland.
