Political Campaign Files, 1968-2018
Scope and Content Note
The Political Campaign Files series documents David Hugel's work with various Republican campaigns at the State and National levels and his collection of other campaign ephemera and documentation. Notably, the series includes materials from Hugel's time working on the Agnew campaign.
In addition to materials related to Hugel's work with the Nixon-Agnew campaign, the series includes materials related to Hugel's work with the Blair campaign for governor, information about the campaign for Hogan Sr. for Maryland governor, and other campaign documents. It also includes information regarding the Bush political campaigns and photographs of campaign events. Topics in this series are closely related to materials in the Political Campaigns, U.S. Presidents, Governors, and Government subseries, and the Political Campaigns Signs - State and National subseries, both located within the Memorabilia series.
Materials in this series are mainly textual, but also include photographs, news clippings, political position books, and computer disks. Some materials such as computer disks and the film reel may require special equipment or further processing for use.
