Scope and Content Note
The Clearing House for a Healthy Community (CHHC) Files series (1990-2000) contains materials specific to Robinson's work with CHHC. CHHC was an organization in Middle East Baltimore made up of community organizers and leaders that focused their work on the research conducted in the community by Johns Hopkins and other research groups. This series relates to community resistance to eminent domain and residential displacement in East Baltimore for the construction of the Johns Hopkins Biotech Park. Materials are mainly textual. Series is arranged chronologically.

Collection is open for research. Two SMEAC folders labelled “Restricted” are closed to the public until 2040, except with written permission of the donor. Restricted files are indicated in the collection inventory in series three.
