Audiovisual Materials, 1980-1995

The Audiovisual Materials series (1980-1995) primarily contains audio cassette tapes. Other formats include an open reel-to-reel audio magnetic tape and VHS tapes. Some items were separated from the Community Organizing Files series and placed in this series due to their audiovisual format and preservation needs. Subjects present in the Audiovisual Materials series include non-profit and fundraising training materials. Non-profit conferences are documented on the audio cassettes. The N.C.R.P. (National Corporation for Responsive Philanthropy) conferences throughout the 1980s and 1990s are heavily documented through Cook’s audio recordings in this collection. Notable visiting speakers recorded at the conferences include Bishop Desmond Tutu, Si Kahn, and Barbara Jordan.
