Scope and Content Note
The Community Relations Commission Pamphlets, Reports, and Publications series (1963-1994) is organized into three subseries. The Pamphlets subseries (1966-1990) contains brochures, pamphlets, and educational materials aimed to provide general information regarding discrimination, housing, employment, violence, and women’s rights. The Reports and Publications subseries (1954-1993) contains reports and publications regarding issues and activities related to the Commissions work. Topics covered by the reports and publications include desegregation, Baltimore police activities, surveys of employment and housing, neighborhood studies, the Gay and Lesbian Civil Rights Bill for Baltimore City, and others. The Annual Reports subseries (1959-1994) contains the annual reports of the Baltimore Community Relations Commission and the Civil Service Commission.
