Scope and Contents
Congresswoman Mary Risteau attended a meeting at Mrs. Ridgely's, Governor Ritchie house. Some people of Harford County wanted to protect the "Rocks of Deer Creek" (gorge) from destruction and proposed to purchase this area on behalf of the state and to maintain it as a public park rather than use it for business purposes i.e., development.
