"The 1931 Legislative Session Ends; Many Bills Die." In the 1931 session of the Maryland Legislature, several important statewide laws were enacted. Mary Risteau, one of the Houses hardest workers, was concerned with agricultural legislation and was instrumental in the decisive defeat of the Woman Jurors Bill.
