From the Collection:
The collection documents the actions and business of the Butchers Hill Association, a neighborhood civic group in southeast Baltimore City, from the late 1970s through 2020. Topics addressed within the collection include: land use, redevelopment, drug activity, vacant housing, absentee landlords, citizen inspectors, the Baltimore City Fair, work with the Community Law Center and SECO, Patterson Park improvements, and annual events like flea markets, open houses, and garden tours.
