The Station North Oral History Collection contains 10 oral history interviews conducted by Aiden Faust in 2012-2013 with a group of artists and activists who held collective ownership of artists' live-work spaces in Baltimore, Maryland’s Station North Arts and Entertainment District. Each interview includes digital audio recording, interview transcripts, and photographs of interviewees. Topics discussed in the interviews include the history of the Cork Factory building, development of the state’s first arts and entertainment district, the process of redevelopment and neighborhood change, city planning, and gentrification, as well as personal histories from artists and activists involved with the project.
