The collection consists of 63 letters written by Frederick "Fitz" Bachman between 1917 and 1920. Bachman was an American enlisted in the Canadian Forces during the First World War. Letters were sent by Bachman from Canada, Great Britain, and Iraq where he participated in the British Mesopotamia Campaign. The correspondence from Bachman was written to Mr. and Mrs. L. Waldman, Edward Bachman, Jule, and Frank. The collection also includes a souvenir ticket and official correspondence received by Bachman.
