Scope and Contents
The Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences Records primarily document the academic programs, courses of study, faculty and office of the dean of the College, spotlight UB and public events.

Biographical / Historical
As part of the Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences, Spotlight UB was presented readings, theatrical productions, concerts and integrated arts performances. Spotlight regularly attached programming to curriculum with learning goals of arts appreciation and increased reading comprehension. In eleven years, Spotlight UB offered over 200 events with over 23,000 attendees. All events were held in the Wright Theater on the fifth floor of the UB Student Center, 21 W. Mt. Royal Ave. After the final Emerging Voices Project in May 2018, Spotlight UB ended due to budget restrictions.
