Scope and Contents
“The Poor People's Campaign”: An Interdisciplinary course taking a comprehensive look at the roots, actions, and legacy of the campaign, taught by Dr. Lenneal Henderson, Dr. Ed Gibson, Dr. Al Gourrier, and co-led by Marc Steiner, director of the Center for Emerging Media, which examined King's work on the issue of multigenerational poverty, and how these efforts continue to resonate in American society today.
