Scope and Contents
Amira Rose Davis, assistant professor of history and women's, gender, and sexuality studies at Penn State University, discussed her book, "Can't Eat a Medal: The Lives and Labors of Black Women Athletes in the Age of Jim Crow", at the University of Baltimore. Joshua Clark Davis, assistant professor of history in the University of Baltimore's Division of Legal, Ethical and Historical Studies, was the host of this event. This event was co-sponsored by the History program, History Club, Diversity and Culture Center and Helen P. Denit Honors Program.
