Biographical / Historical
The Civilian Pilot Training Program (1938–1944) was a project of the United States Government intended to increase the number of civilian pilots in the interest of bolstering military preparedness. The University of Baltimore graduated 58 pilots from the program in 1940, its first year of participation in the program.
