Biographical / Historical

The Jacob France Institute was established in 1989 in the University's Merrick School of Business. It connects faculty members with research opportunities, compiles information for community organizations, and publishes its findings.The statistics and reports produced by the JFI focus on economic and employment data, primarily concerning the Baltimore metropolitan area and the state of Maryland. The Jacob France Center was renamed the Jacob France Institute in September 2001.
