Scope and Contents
Records created by offices preceding, but now under the administration of the Office of the Senior Vice President for Administration and Finance. The Assistant to the University President Robert Fudge series includes subject files, correspondence, budgets, and documentation related to alumni, faculty, students, the Business School, the College of Liberal Arts and the library. Much of this material was assembled in 1971 in support of the accreditation process. The University Treasurer Hugh Higgins series includes subject files, budget material and property records.

Biographical / Historical
The Office of the Senior Vice President for Administration and Finance is responsible for a broad range of administrative functions. The following units report to the office as of 2012: Conference Services, Department of Procurement and Materials Management, Mail Services, Office of Administration and Finance, Office of Administrative and Financial Systems, Office of Auxiliary Enterprises, Office of the Bursar, Office of the Comptroller, Office of Facilities Management and Capital Planning (was formerly known as Campus Planning and Real Estate Development before April 2008), Office of Human Resources, Office of Planning, Office of University Budget, Office of University Relations, Parking and Shuttle Management, Publishing Center and the University of Baltimore Police Department.Planning and external Affairs was renamed Planning in 2014, and abolished in 2016. Functions assumed by other units. The Public Safety was renamed University of Baltimore Police Department in 2009.
