Scope and Contents
Contents include: 2 LP audio records by the artist Sylvester; 4 "Safe Zone" signs; LGBT certificates and awards won by Hughes; local LGBT news articles; photocopies of slideshows on LGBT history and walking tours; 2 color photo prints (circa 2002); knit rainbow scarf and patches from the Lambda Rising store; a key tag from the Brass Rail restaurant in Washington, DC; 2 bracelets; a 2012 Barack Obama button; a Pomo Afro Homo tshirt; and a handwritten poem to Hughes by Reginald Harris.
