The Political Campaign Files series documents David Hugel's work with various Republican campaigns at the State and National levels and his collection of other campaign ephemera and documentation. Notably, the series includes materials from Hugel's time working on the Agnew campaign.

In addition to materials related to Hugel's work with the Nixon-Agnew campaign, the series includes materials related to Hugel's work with the Blair campaign for governor, information about the campaign for Hogan Sr. for Maryland governor, and other campaign documents. It also includes information regarding the Bush political campaigns and photographs of campaign events.
