Scope and Content Note

This sub-series contains Voters' Guides published by the League of Women Voters of Baltimore for city, state, and national primary and general elections. Some Voters' Guides were published in collaboration with the Baltimore Sun. Also present are Elections Notices published by the Baltimore Sun.

Box 6 contains a group of Primary Elections Voters' Guides includes Baltimore City, State, US Presidential, Gubernatorial, and Judicial Elections. Many Voters' Guides have duplicate copies. The 1971, 1979, 1980, 1982, Voter's Guides were published in collaboration with the Baltimore Sun.

Box 47 includes the group of General Elections Voters Guides. The General Elections Voters Guides contain information regarding city, state, and national elections. The guides also contain information regardings candidates, ballot initatives, and districting maps. Several general election voters' guides have duplicate copies.

Conditions Governing Access

Collection is open for research. This collection contains audio-visual and digital materials that may need further processing or special equipment to allow use. Scrapbooks are oversize and in delicate condition. Some scrapbooks have loose materials, but are largely intact. These are stored flat to ensure the materials remain intact.
