The Southeast Council Against the Road Records document the activities and organization of the community coalition in their efforts to prevent the proposed East-West Highway from routing through Baltimore neighborhoods in the 1960s and 1970. The collection also includes materials related to their partnerships with other community organizations, their work related to historic neighborhood preservation, and other functions.
