Physical Description
A plastic bookmark, gray and yellow, inscribed with the logo of Baltimore - The City that Reads - The profile of a child with an open book. On one side is a quote from the inaugural Address given on that date by Mayor Kurt L. Schmoke. Additionally, a pin that can be inserted in a lapel with the same logo is included. The slogan of “The city that reads” was actually born during the reign of Mayor William Donald Schaefer. More information regarding this initiative can be found in Series IV.
