The collection consists of 22 digital files (including 16 mp4 videos and 6 text transcripts) from the 2014 PBS documentary film by Mick Caouette, "Mr. Civil Rights: Thurgood Marshall and the NAACP." Digital video files are raw, unedited interviews with the following people: Jose Anderson, Kimberle Crenshaw, Mary Easter, Larry Gibson, Rawn James, Vernon Jordan, Elena Kagan, John Paul Stevens, Roger Wilkins, and Juan Williams. Partial transcripts exist for some interviews.
Stone Hill in Hampden Collection
The Stone Hill in Hampden Collection contains 47 audio interviews conducted with long-time residents of Hampden in Baltimore, Maryland who reside in the stone houses known as Stone Hill. Interviews were conducted by Guy Hollyday between 1986 and 1993. The collection includes audio cassette tapes and text excerpts of the interviews created and used by Mr. Hollyday for his book, 'Stone Hill: The People and Their Stories.' Collection also includes digitized copies of materials.
